Crate is made from salvaged deadstock denim found in the backrooms of LA fabric houses. Raw to slight fades, 50's to the 80's the fabrics are like nothing produced today. The patterns are drawn and cut by hand, then sewn together using old-fashioned techniques. We love Crate Denim!

Millimeter/milligram began as a design firm in Seoul, South Korea in 1999, and began producing stationary in 2000. The company currently designs and manufactures stationary, photo albums and bags, as well as other plastic, leather, and textile-based design products. Founded by carpenter Per-Ivan Hagberg in Gothenburg, Sweden, Dunderdon has been revolutionizing workwear since 1997. Dunderdon adds smart design and great fits to the superior construction you would expect from a workwear brand. Per-Ivan’s design philosophy sums it up perfectly “Honest, simple designs are timeless. Our products should represent the highest craftsmanship and innovation, while never compromising on fit and style. We respect the past, but we don’t rely on it.”
We have stocked Dunderdon for a few seasons now, and this is certainly their best collection yet. In addition to the pants and outerwear that we’ve always loved, they have added may great knits, shirts, accessories, and even a women’s collection.

Wendy Mullin does not sleep. In the past few years, she has designed a cowboy-inspired line for Wranger Jeans, written a how-to-sew book, created sewing patterns for Simplicity, opened new stores in Brooklyn & Los Angeles, and collaborated with some of the finest talents in the worlds of fashion, art, film, comedy, and music, all while pushing forward with her own aptly-named clothing and accessory line, Built by Wendy. Her line was an inspiration to us when we opened, and five years later it is still the most cherished line we stock. We love the timeless styles and the quirky, not-trying-to-hard approach to her fashion. Here is a recent interview with Wendy, where she talks a bit about her inspiration for her new collection: "My fall collection is what I would wear if I were a Waspy Connecticut girl in the 80’s. Preppy and classic; borrowing your mom’s Chanel purse."
